Korpens led

From the Pilgrims trail, the Korpens Led begins about 150 m north of the car park at Högelund. You walk along an old forest road, flanked by a quartz ridge. Just before the turn to Korpeknatten with its wonderful view over Ronja’s kingdom, you can see the pond Mellby-tjärnet looking like an eye of the forest below the mountain. From Byn you can get to the Bear´s Cave and Hell’s Gap known from the movie about Ronja. Along Lake Ärr you can see how the beaver lives and at Verkälven you will find the dam built for Dals Bergssocietet’s silver venture established in 1777. From Hensbyn you follow the old country road along Gobyn’s valley and after crossing Verkälven again you reach the trail’s connection to the Pilgrims trail at North Järpestolstjärnet.
