Up, up from the parking lot at Byn you walk past the croft Mellbyn and the giant dead spruce tree. Continue up the hill and from there, visit the highest point, where the view of the Dalsland landscape is magnificent. Lake Vänern and Kinnekulle can be seen in clear weather.

Below the mountain you see Lake Ärr which can often be seen as a background in scenes from the Ronja movie. You often see and hear the ravens with their jarring sound welco- ming you to the area. The distorted old pines and mountain with its rocks, slopes, ledges and cavities truly captures the iconic image of Ronjaland.
