Train and bus
Weekdays, it’s easy to use public transportation. The nearest railway station is in Åmål. From there, you can take a bus (weekdays) to Fengersfors. You can find bus and train schedules here. www.vasttrafik.se och www.sj.se.
With car
From Stockholm it takes about 5 hours (40 miles). E18 or E20 to Örebro from there E18 towards Oslo and Karlstad. A few miles after Karlstad, take road 45 towards Gothenburg. Follow the E45 to just south of Åmål. At Tösse church, turn right towards Fengersfors, drive 10 km. Then turn right towards Fengersfors.
From Gothenburg it takes about 2 hours (180 km). E45 towards Karlstad and Åmål. Follow the E45 to just south of Åmål. At Tösse church, turn left towards Fengersfors, drive 10 km. Then turn right towards Fengersfors.
